I was speaking to my mother and she was telling me about a teenager who is not a poster child for chassidishkeit. There was a question what would you do with the money if you would win the lottery. And the girl answered about different mosdos and Chabad Houses that she would donate to. My mother commented that her children also fit this behaviour the first things they would mention would be the Tzdoka they would give.
Mi K'Amcha Yisrael
On a side note, I remember fantasies I had as a teen, that I would gain access to the notorious Jew room in the CIA and there would be recordings of all the Shabbos farbrengens and Tkios and Hakofos.

There was an article posted on Achdus. Someone who dropped his frumkeit, wrote about it. What happened, why he did it etc. He lost faith in the Rabbi's and even our Chachomim, in the Torah etc. But he adamantly says he's Jewish. It's mind boggling how no matter how far he falls he can't get away from it. He gets insulted when you tell him otherwise! Because logically, what is there about being Jewish other then Hashem, the Torah, our traditions etc.?
It's like someone not liking the constitution, not liking the founders, not liking the values, ideals, traditions, culture etc. and yet still adamantly calls himself American! Does that make any sense?
